This privacy policy explains our policy regarding the type of information we may collect from you when you use the Photoscout website, why we collect it, and how we use it.
We process your personal data in accordance with the applicable legislation on the protection of personal data, which includes the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation 2016/679) (« GDPR ») and the Belgian data protection laws, including the law of 30 July 2018 relating to the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data.

This Policy is intended for the following categories of concerned individuals:

- a supplier or a commercial service provider,
- other stakeholders or those in contact with us.
For What Purposes Do We Process Your Personal Data?
This Privacy Policy applies only to « personal data » or « personal information » within the meaning of the GDPR, excluding statistical results provided in the form of aggregated and anonymized data by TRIBU NEWS.
« Personal data » or « personal information » is defined as data relating to an identified or identifiable person, whether directly or indirectly, and (i) that you provide to us yourself or (ii) that we assign to you to allow you to use our services, or (iii) that are generated by your use of our services or by your activity on our site.
If You Are a Prospect
We process the following data:
- your personal identification data (name, first name);
- your contact details (email);
We use the aforementioned data to:
- contact you when you have left your details to obtain more information about Photoscout’s services;
- conclude and execute the services to which you have subscribed or wish to subscribe in order to use the services of Photoscout;
Your contact details also allow us to send you information about Photoscout’s activities and/or products. Photoscout indeed has a legitimate interest in promoting its services to people who have been in contact with it, who have shown an interest in its activities, or to its prospects. The sending of advertisements or newsletters by email is carried out by Photoscout only with the prior consent of the concerned person (opt-in).
If You Are a Customer
We process:
- your personal identification data (name, first name, date of birth);
- your contact details (email, phone);
- your billing data (postal address, country, phone, payment method);
- your data related to the delivery of our products to your chosen address;
- your data related to your IP address and your login on the Photoscout Platform
We use the aforementioned data to:
- conclude and execute the contract you have subscribed to or wish to subscribe to in order to use our services;
- send you targeted advertisements to promote our services (soft opt-in);
If You Are a Supplier or a Commercial Service Provider
We process the following data:
- your personal identification data (name, first name, gender, language used);
- your contact details (email, phone);
- your professional information (company, position);
We process your data to ensure the execution of the commercial contract concluded with us.
If You Are a Visitor to Our Website
When you visit our website, we collect certain information about your browser, your IP address, etc., to make your use of our website as efficient and comfortable as possible and to protect our IT systems from attacks and other illegal activities. These data are collected through cookies (see the Cookie Policy).
These data are also used by the analysis tools we use for online marketing purposes.
How Long Is Your Data Kept?
Your data is kept by us for the duration necessary for the conclusion of the contract, the execution of the contract, or the follow-up of our contractual relationship.
We delete your personal data as soon as the purpose for which we collected and processed them ceases to exist, within the following periods:

The data processed in the context of the execution of a (future) contract are actively kept for the duration necessary for the execution of the contract or the follow-up of our contractual relationship and will then be archived for the legal limitation period of contractual actions of 10 years, before their final deletion at the end of the limitation period.

The data of prospects processed in the context of pre-contractual measures without leading to the conclusion of a contract are kept and will be deleted after 2 years if no commercial action has been undertaken by the prospect within this period.

The information collected during your visit to our website will be deleted in accordance with the Cookie policy.
To Whom May Your Data Be Transferred?
Your personal data may be transferred to our suppliers, subcontractors, and professional service providers, who provide services including data processing on our behalf. These parties may only process your personal data to perform their mission and within the limits of our instructions and compliance with the GDPR Privacy Rules.
When our suppliers and subcontractors are located in countries outside the European Economic Area, TRIBU NEWS ensures that appropriate precautions and security measures are put in place to guarantee the security and confidentiality of your personal data. TRIBU NEWS will particularly ensure the following guarantees:
- the country to which the personal data are transferred has been granted an adequacy decision by the European Commission under Article 45 of the GDPR, and the transfer falls within the scope of said adequacy decision;
- has concluded with the recipient of the personal data a contract containing the standard contractual clauses for the protection of personal data adopted by the European Commission under Article 47 of the GDPR;
We may transfer your personal data to public authorities or other third parties when required by law or when necessary to protect and defend our interests in court.
Outside these cases, TRIBU NEWS does not disclose any of your personal data, pseudonymized or not, to third parties.
What Security Measures Are Implemented by TRIBU NEWS?
To protect your personal data against loss, destruction, and unauthorized access or manipulation, TRIBU NEWS has implemented both technical and organizational security measures.
This means, on one hand, that our computer system is equipped with backup systems, filtering, and firewalls to protect your personal data from misuse, unauthorized disclosure, illegal destruction, or accidental loss and, on the other hand, that our employees have been made aware of the risks related to data breaches and trained to properly handle your personal data, and that access to your personal data is only granted to authorized individuals as part of their duties. All our employees and partners who have access to, and are associated with the processing of your personal information, are required to respect the confidentiality of your personal information.
What Are Your Rights Regarding the Processing of Your Personal Data?

Right of access: where the law permits, you have the right to ask whether we process your personal data and what personal data about you are processed. When you are a client, the member area of the Photoscout Platform allows you to access most of the personal data that are processed by our services.
In any case, in the event of a specific request, access will only be granted if TRIBU NEWS is able, based on the information in its possession, to identify you with certainty. Any request for access to your data must be accompanied by a copy of your identity card.
TRIBU NEWS has 30 days to respond to your request, this period only starting from the moment TRIBU NEWS is in possession of all the information required to satisfy your request.
Right to rectification: you can ask us to correct and/or complete your inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
When you are a client, the member area of the TRIBU NEWS Platform already allows you to correct and/or complete some of your personal data. You can via « your account »: (1) confirm the accuracy of the personal information we have collected about you; (2) update your personal information.
Right to erasure: without prejudice to the legal retention periods defined in article 5, you can ask us to erase your personal data, in particular when they are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or processed, or if you have revoked your consent for their processing and there is no other legal basis for their processing.
Right to restriction of processing: under certain conditions, you have the right to request limited processing, in which case your personal data may, apart from their storage, be processed by TRIBU NEWS only with your consent or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims, for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person, or for reasons of important public interest.
Right to data portability: if technically feasible, you have the right to ask us to transfer your personal data to another data controller.
Right to object: you always have the right to object, without reason and free of charge, to the use of your personal data for direct marketing purposes. You can in particular unsubscribe at any time from newsletters sent to you by activating the link provided for this purpose in each email or advertisement or by sending us a request to this effect at the address: info@mytribunews.com
Right to withdraw your consent: if the processing of your personal data is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw it at any time, without this affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out before the withdrawal of your consent.
